A self-confessed aspiring bon vivant, Akeela has spent 30 years in the travel industry. The unique cultural experiences and education offered by traveling quenches her thirst for knowledge and self enhancement. Akeela enjoys sharing her knowledge with clients, addressing their personal travel needs. She derives immense satisfaction from being part of something that is so joyful to others. Her greatest sense of accomplishment comes from the excitement and happiness expressed by clients when she has successfully completed their booking. Working with TierOne, Akeela has access to an array of products and contacts to suit all types of travelers and she secures the best travel arrangements for her clients. When she is not researching new destinations to add to her repertoire, she takes ballroom dancing lessons regularly and participates in a dinner/wine club. Akeela travels 2-3 times each year. Last year she did a river cruise in Provence and next year Tuscany is on her agenda for places to go. Akeela is planning to specialize in France and Italy, particularly the regions made famous for their culinary delights.
